Climbing for Strength, Rising with Hope

EVEREST ROPE CLIMB

The Everest Rope Climb (ERC) is a gruelling endurance challenge where one person climbs a rope repeatedly until they’ve scaled the equivalent height of Everest—all within 24 hours. That’s over 8.8 kilometers of vertical ascent, demanding thousands of pulls, relentless determination, and pure grit.

Renowned UK adventurer Ross Edgley famously completed this extreme feat, proving that with resilience and sheer willpower, the summit is within reach. His climb tore through two pairs of shoes, ten pairs of gloves, and burned more than 8,000 calories.

In December 2025, Peak Explore founder Kevin will be taking on this extraordinary challenge to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, in support of young people navigating life with cancer. Training has already begun, and though we’re still finalising the venue, one thing is certain: this climb will happen.

This is not just about strength—it’s about purpose, perseverance, and pushing boundaries in the name of a cause that matters.

We’re looking for community support. If you’re a local business, volunteer, or just someone who believes in big climbs for bigger impact, we’d love to connect.

Join us in the ascent. Climb higher. Push further. Make a difference

Environmental Responsibility

Nature is our classroom, our compass, and our community. We pledge to protect and preserve it through sustainable practices, environmental education, and a deep respect for the land we explore.

Inclusion & Belonging

We are committed to creating a space where every individual—regardless of background, race, gender identity, or orientation—is seen, valued, and empowered. Peak Explore exists to champion diversity and foster a culture of belonging in the great outdoors.

Empowerment Through Access

We believe outdoor adventure and personal growth should never be a privilege. That’s why we actively work to break down barriers for underrepresented and socially excluded communities—making meaningful experiences in nature accessible to all.

Got a project, idea, or activity you feel passionate about? Let’s explore it together. Whether you're an individual, group, school, or community initiative—if you think Peak Explore could support, amplify, or walk alongside your journey, we’re all ears. No idea is too small, and no community too overlooked.
