Breidden Hill & Rodney’s Pillar Walk
Join our 4 All Foundation Sponsored Charity Walk up Breidden Hill to Rodney’s Pillar! Enjoy stunning views while raising funds for a great cause.
This scenic walk in support of 4 All Foundation should take approximately two hours to complete, with the route beginning and ending at Criggion Village Hall.
The walk takes you up the Breidden Hill range, a striking volcanic landscape that rises over 1,200 feet and offers breathtaking views across Shropshire and Wales. Along the trail, you’ll pass the remains of an ancient hill fort, thought to be where Caractacus made his last stand against the Romans. At the summit stands Rodney’s Pillar, a monument built in 1782 to commemorate Admiral Rodney’s naval victory over the French.
